How Placement Works

Placement begins with a consultation where a Nation consultant gathers information about the household’s requirements — including care needs, daily routines, and helper preferences. Based on this, the consultant shortlists candidates from the agency’s pool. Families are presented with curated biodata rather than a full open listing.

Nation is a MOM-accredited Advance Placement Scheme (APS) agency. Under APS, pre-screened helpers who are already in Singapore can be interviewed in person and deployed within 7–10 working days, subject to standard MOM processing. Transfer maids — helpers between employers — may also offer a shorter transition timeline, depending on employer release, helper suitability, and MOM processing.

Post-placement, Nation provides aftercare services including counselling, mediation, and embassy coordination. These are available to both employers and helpers throughout the employment period.

Helper Training & Welfare

Before deployment, helpers may complete structured training covering household management, cooking, childcare, elderly care, and basic English communication, depending on the household’s needs and helper profile.
